A 16,000 sf, turn of the century four-story structure was transformed into an urban mixed-use project. Because the space was not conceived as part of the residential build-out, the utility improvements were installed as needed and without concern for the development of the street level. Consequently, this became the obstacle which we embraced as a design catalyst. The design creates an open interactive environment conducive to the creative and collaborative nature of the tenant’s work.
